Wednesday Thoughts

Hello, helo, hello everyone. I have a few minutes to write some thoughts down so I thought I would. :) I miss  my blogging but the semester just keeps piling more work on top of me and my weekends seem to be so filled with things (not the least of which includes some good ol' fashioned being lazy) that I never really get around to it. I can't believe that its been almost a week again.. I need to write this wrong. So run my mouth I will, at least for a few more minutes :)

#1- Zach brought my an iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts earlier and it is so amazing. (I am paying him back I insist) But as I was walking to school this morning I needed one. It's just an iced coffee kind of day. So he ssaid he'd bring me one, and he did, and he is fabulous :).

#2- Yesterday my glasses came in so I went to pick them up and it's seriously amazing to me how much I wasn't seeing. These only get my vision up to 20/70 distance and 20/40 up close (which is prety good for the upclose thing) so I'm just fascinated that if this is what I can see at 20/70 what are people with 20/20 or 20/15 seeing??? I mean seriously... everything is so much more textured than I realized. :P

#3- This coming Saturday I am helping my sister move in Richmond with my mom, dad, and Zach. It's going to be a lonnnnng day. Like I said- this is why I don't get around to blogging as much anymore!

#4- My feet hurt so bad right now. I'm not sure why- I think my running shoes are on their last leg. Thankfully the Easter Bunny promised me he'd look into getting me some new ones. :) Yay!

#5- Shadowing last Friday was actually a lot of fun. I really liked the people I met, and I even kind of have an accounting twin over there. Well- not that we both do accounting the same way- but with life style stuff.l For example- both of us considered parellel parking a highly over rated skill and think that it's unnecessary to learn, and that if we ever have to do it, we'll just get someone to park our cars for us. Additionally- we both consider meals, "meals" only when they involve meat. (Excluding pizza, but it's MORE of a meal when meat is involved).

#6- The accounting test on Monday could have gone better. It could have gone worse, but I feel like I just made some mistakes that were stupid. I had a dream last night that I got a 71% on it. And yeah that's not AWFUL... but I'd really hope I do better than that because I studied essentially all of my spring break.

#7- I took the most ridiculous short answer test yesterday in my Accounting Information Systems class. It was seriously 10 shrot answers, and one of the questions I didn't even know what it was ASKING me. I've never felt like I was BSing so much on a test, and I've never NOT known what a question wanted. So basically I just wrote him a note below the problem explaining that I wasn't really sure what he wanted from us, and that I apologized because I'm always prepared for tests, but I really just have no idea what he wanted me to do for this question, and I left him all the information I did know on the subject matter (payroll taxes).

#8- I have a coral cami and a light yellow sweater on and flip flops today. It's sprinnnnng.

#9- I was just a few minutes ago doing some leisurely wikipedia reading on Revlon and I really find the company very interesting. It was created during the Gread Depression, and I always find the companies that survive the Great Depression interesting, but there were just so many other little things. I think the traditional makeup companies (not the new ones) are very interesting to learn about from a business stand point. Why? Becuase they really were pioneers at their time of creation, and creating a cosmetics company in the 1930's where the primary market was women (who had only JUST gotten the right to vote) fascinates me. I think it was the start of something pretty interesting in the world. As dumb as it sounds I'm really interested in doing more lesiurely research on cosmetic companies

#10- I got my hair cut over spring break and I'm just still not okay with it. I think it either needs more dimension (aka better cut layers) or to be shorter. It just feels puffy right now. I don't know- maybe that's weird. I just normally find hair cuts satisfying and this one isn't doing the job.

Thursday Thoughts

#1- It was gorgeous today! 70 degrees, sunny, and a slight breeze. Awesome, awesome weather.

#2- Now that it's warming up I can revert back to my old Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee obsession <3. :)

#3- I'm nervous about shadowing at the CPA (Certified Public Accounting) firm tomorrow. What if they think I'm dumb? What if they ask me questions and I stare blankly? What if I can't do something they ask me to do? What if they don't like me and don't want me to intern all summer anymore? What if when we go to the fountains they disapprove of my choice of drinks?? These are seriously thoughts in my head.

#4- I am going to miss my yummy well water, that comes right from the tap, when I go back to my apartment on Saturday or Sunday. Gross city water stinks. :(

#5- I really want to be at the beach. I feel like I keep saying that but I still haven't been but I really love the beach when it's not super hot, and there aren't tourists yet.

#6- I really need a new pair of running shoes. I've had the pair I use since July- and you're technically supposed to replace them every six months. It's almost been 9. Woops.

#7- I promised myself I'd get another massage over spring break but I didn't do it. I'm kinda bummed but eh- they're really expensive anyway.

#8- I need this semester to be over. Something just didn't click this semester and I just can't get my head in the game. (Anyone else instantly think of High School Musical when I said "head in the game".. anyone? anyone?).

#9- I have so much school craziness going on next week, and then the following Saturday (the 27th or something?) I have to go about 4 hours south and help my sister move. I'm never going to sleep again.

#10- I ran out of stuff to say at like #6- but I didn't want to delete six, and I can't deal with non "round" numbers, so I just made stuff up. :)

Things That Make Me Happy

Really pretty flowers. Right now, I really love the simplicity of these tulips. I love their colors too. <3 They just seem so pretty and happy for spring.
Lemon squares are a highly under rated snack food... they are so delicious. I always think of them in spring and summer months. They're so light and yummy. I think I want to learn to make them.
I'm not even that good at it, but I really love going mini-golfing. I guess I just associate it with a lot of fun experiences... either way I love it. Especially all the cute and mildly ghetto places down at the beach. <3
The Phanatic <3 As if this guy needs any introduction. How could anyone not love this guy??? Obvi. you'd be heartless! (Or a Mets fan... but eh.. heartless- Mets fan... one in the same ;) )

Pretty sunsets :) I really like this one. My favorite sunsets are the deep orangey and red ones. <3 Red skies at night-- sailors delight!
I feel like something that relatively few people know- and that more should know- is that I loved piggies. They were my favorite animals when I was little and I seriously have at least four pig stuffed animals in my sight (which if you refer to my past post- is pretty bad!) at the moment. Granted I'm at home.. but I do love the little guys. Look at that precious face!!! (I think it's convenient that Bones likes piggies too.. because you know.. Bones and Booth are totally going to end up together <3)

Starbucks coffee <3 (Or Dunkin Donuts, or Seattle's Best, or really any other brands coffee- I'm not really picky)

Special Agent Seeley Booth. I know you're probs wondering- whose THIS chic with him! Don't worry her names Emily- she's just standing in for me for a little bit. :)
Running. Unless you like running- it's hard to understand why anyone else in the world would desire to run for miles at a time. But I do. :)

I know this is really weird- but I love dog wood trees. We have white ones in our yard and they always remind me of spring time. And isn't this picture gorgeous? Don't you just want to pull out a blanket and take a nap? :)

Sorry sorry sorry sorry!!

I know I know I know! It has been another week since I blogged! In my defense the last week of classes was less than awesome. And even though I'm on spring break- I still feel like I have a million things to do. But let me bring you up to speed on my life!

#1- Referring to the last post. Turns out there were 4 girls in my age class so since I finished 3rd it means I beat one of them!! :) I got a little mug award thing but I don't really know what to do with it.

#2- I'm home for a few days and so glad to be here. Why? It's clean! Why else? The food is real. Why else? I love my mommy and daddy? Why else? I can go running outside and not worry about getting mugged. Why else? My nephew Peter (the golden retreiver) and Murphy give me so much lovin'. Why else? Um.. because we have a seemingly endless supply of diet coke in the fridge- lets be real- we all know I have a problem.

#3- I went shopping today!! (kind of...) but I'll save that stuff for another post.

#4- I have a new/growing interest in makeup. I'm not very good at it (yet... I tend to work hard at stuff (I did raise a 2.7 gpa to 3 consecutive 4.0's (but I won't be trying for that this semester))) . But it's really interesting. I've decided that I am definitely a "Revlon" girl. I'd love to buy the fancy smancsy MAC & Clinique but for the moment I am relatively poor. So I'll just enjoy my Revlon.

#5-  I am proud of myself. I've been making myself work on homework like 2 hours every day all of break. I hope I can keep it up. That big test next Monday ALREADY has me nervous.

#6- I am considering going to Starbucks (I have a giftcard from Z's momma & poppa!) one day this week and getting Coffee and working on homework. Can't decide if it's too 'cliche'.

#7- I have to go to the eye dr's and renew my drivers license this week. Two Least Favorite Things Ever.

#8- I also might get my hair cut... but I don't know what to do. It's too long. I always just start to ignore it when it gets long because it gets so freakin' gross looking. What to do, what to do. Helppp.

#9- I might get my nails done... I have a gift certificate still... I cant decide. maybe I will. I'll feel pretty for a week...

#10- I can't wait to go running tomorrow- I hope it's nice :)

Sorry Again!

I know I've gotten really slacky on the updates lately, I just feel like nothing of particular interest is going on in my life lately. But alas... I'll give you some tidbits of insight into my life.

#1- Yesterday I got a blueberry muffin and a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts and it was pure heaven. I took it to SU where  I found a big comfy chair to devour it in. It was heaven. I'm starting to understand how people can go to Starbucks and just sit there for hours.

#2- I can't get to sleep early anymore. And I always get extremely tired and unproductive at about 6 or 7PM. Not sure what to do about that.

#3- I was cleaning my iTunes library last night and I discovered that I own an unreasonable amount of Rascal Flatts. I seriously think I have like 30-40 songs by them alone. It is way extreme.

#4- I still can't make up my mind about whether or not I want to do the 10 mile or the 5k. I'm having a hard time. I'm going running with my friend Katy later, and hopefully that'll make my decision easier.

#5- I need new tunes for the gym. Feel free to leave me lots of ghetto music suggestions. :)

#6- I downloaded a Taylor Swift song yesterday. I am so ashamed of myself. Please don't stop being my friend.

#7- I watched too much L&O SVU last night before bed. I went to sleep and was paranoid that a person was going to come and attack me. *sigh* It's so good! Why do I have to get all scardy cat??

#8- Mr. Terrible from eBay who sold me a broken iTouch case sent me a replacement this week. I take back all the things I said about him relating to his business operations. I do not take back all the things I said about his personality. He's still a jerk.

#9- I added Eye of the Tiger to my "Gym Playlist" I'm not gonna lie. I'm really looking forward to it coming on while I'm on the treadmill. I know. Too cool for school.

#10- Yesterday I heard this song on the radio by Lil' Wayne called Bed Rock and I texted my two friends Callie & Lissa and I was like... "Does this song really say Call me Mr. Flinstone, cause I can make your bed rock??? Seriously???" And they were both like oh it grows on you. And I was like pft. no way. I came home and youtube'd it. I listened to it once more. I then downloaded it. Guess I was wrong. ahaha story of my life.

Tuesday Thoughts

#1- I went into work this morning and there was only like 2 hours worth of work to do so Zach and I got lunch then came back here to do work. It was pretty awesome.

#2- I ran 6.3 miles today at the gym. And then I came home and decided I'm pretty sure I had some kind of food poisoning or virus... 5 hours later.. I still feel crappy. I'm running a mild fever (99.6- but I run cool anyway at normally around 97.8). It's just really strange... I never get fevers.

#3- Going to my accounting information systems class makes me grumpy I think.

#4- Today I finally got rid of one of my old pillows and put the temprapedic one officially in it's palce on my bed... I looked at the tags on the other one to figure out how old it was and discovered that not only was it from "Hecht Company" (which we haven't had in town for nearly 10 years) buttt on top of that the price tag was $10. OLD. Very old pillow. You would never pay $10's for anything in hechts

#5- If you ever have any questions for me you can ask them anonymously at http://www.formspring.me/ed16564

#6- Hannah texted me today and it pretty much made my day. I love feeling like I have friends :P

#7- Today's puppy of the day is absolutely precious. I mean, not so much that I feel I need to spotlight the little angel... but I mean, I am letting you know how precious s/he (totally don't remember) is... so maybe you should go check them out. (There's a link right over there ---->)

#8- I would probably sell my soul to be on House Hunters on HGTV. I seriously love that show.

#9- Today I realized how bad my coffee addiction was. I was seeing starbucks logos in the recycling signs on trashcans...

#10- I really love soft pretzels. No- seriously. I really do. I get them atleast 3 times at week at school. Sometimes I get them with soup and dip them in it like bread. Others I get them alone and put mustard on it.. and others still I get the cheese filled ones. Seriously. I love soft pretzels...

*** Seriously, I talk about food all the time. I am not understanding how I don't weight 1000 lbs ***

Monday Thoughts

#1- Oh thank GAH. I survived Monday. Yes, that is my thought. I feel like Monday's are the hardest day of the week... and they kind of are because they are the longest 'school day' for me. But seriously. So excited that it's almost over.

#2- One Tree Hill is on in just under an hour... so I am pretty excited. :)

#3- I've had about 3 nonperils in the last 10 minutes. My body may go into chocolate overload.

#4- I took the morning off from the gym and running today. I feel really bad about it. . . But I need the break. I am really worried that I won't be in shape for the 10 miler in a few weeks though :(

#5- I need to still finish my operations management outline A.S.A.P we have a reading quiz tomorrow.. I'll do that when I finish rambling.

#6- My intermediate I accounting professor made my SEMESTER today. Last semester we used this program known as cengage  to do our homework and it was really helpful because it let you know when you were doing stuff wrong, and you could go back and keep trying til you got it write. And my intermediate II professor didn't use it, so we don't have the option to for his class. AND TODAY she asked him if it was okay if she approved those chapters for us to work on the homework and he said yes. I feel like my life has literally been saved.

#7- Very, very, very few people are going to understand this. But I really wish I knew where Jerry Loos got his CPA. Seriously.

#8- I want to go to the beach really bad. I wish it would stop being cold and miserable and pretend to be spring. :(

#9- I only had one small cup of coffee today, but then I had a diet pepsi, and now I'm drinking a diet coke... so I guess I'm still jacked up on caffeine. Woops.

#10- I don't know if I've ever explained this problem before. But I feel like I NEED to get up at like six in the morning every day, but I really love late night TV. So... I never get sleep. It's a problem.

Sunday Thoughts

Sunday Thoughts.
#1- Where did the weekend go?! It’s already 7:40! My goodness!
#2- I went running outside again today (I did yesterday too).. and I’m starting to wonder if I’m in shape enough to do the 10 miler. I’m not running to race, I’m running to finish and for the sense of accomplishment. But, I don’t want to make a fool of myself, or walk. We did 5 miles and at that point I was having trouble breathing. Hopefully running outside more will get my lungs workin properly.
#3- I want coffee so bad. And donuts. I am such a fat girl at heart.
#4- I want nothing more than to throw on some sweatpants and go to sleep. But I want to do some blogging, and I want to get some other homework done. So I guess that’ll have to wait.
#5- Tonight I had Captin Crunch with Crunchberries for dinner. I know most college kids enjoy another type of Captin, but I think this is my favorite
#6- My parents usually help me out with groceries during the semester so that I don’t need to stress about them so much.. and probably to make sure I actually eat. And earlier my dad said that that he wouldn’t take half my tax return if I just paid for my own groceries for the next two months (I owe him money for fronting the repair on my car’s steering). And I was like you know are you sure, that’s really not as much as the bill was blah blah blah. And they were like yeah it’s fine. Then my mom goes, “BUT YOU BETTER EAT! DON’T STARVE YOURSELF!” Really, I have been getting this a lot lately. People think I don’t eat. It BAFFLES me. I love food, how are people getting the wrong impression!?
#7- I am thinking that tomorrow I’ll get up at 5:30 do some power yoga, go to the gym, run 4 miles, then come home and get ready for class at 9. Then after class at 9 I’ll go to the lib, work on my business law test outlines (test Friday) and some stuff for Intermediate II. God help me…
#8- Someone from Texas viewed my blog today. I think that it ahhh-mazing!  Especially if they liked it and will come back again!!
#9- I made spaghetti (well actually not spaghetti noodles, so I guess pasta) last night for Z. and I! I mixed some browned beef in with Regeu garlic and sauted onion sauce and it was so delicious. (: (: (: Plus it was nice to talk to and joke around with him since we’ve barely seen each other all week!
#10- I started this blog an hour ago and had some hope of getting homework done tonight but I just don’t see that happening. I am soooo sleepy. So I’m just gonna call the homework idea off I think.. nothing too pressing.

Image of Cool: Friday Thoughts

#1 Right now I am pretty sure I am the image of cool and hip. . . or at least the closest to it that I've ever been. I'm currently sitting in my school's coffee house, sipping my coffee (2 cream, 4 splenda- I know, I know, I know) listening to music on my iTouch (Sorirty Girl - Luke Bryan) allll while blogging. Sooo hip and 21st century. I know- only took me 10 years to catch up.

#2 I have twenty followers! I am sooo excited. And I officially have one with a person whom I have positively no connection. Her name is Court (Courtney I would assume be the full name) and I actually started watching her videos on YouTube last year. I'm not sure how I stumbled upon them... It was a pregnancy vlog, and I think I stuck around just because I thought she was so interesting. (Becuase no- I am not thinking about babies yet!! I want my degree first). Anyway, she's pretty interesting. I know she probably won't be most 20-somethings interest, but she has a really cute little girl so you should check her youtube out! Also, she's trying to work off her baby weight, so she's another person you can look to if you're trying to get healthy and in shape. This is the link to her blog. I'm on a slow computer or I'd pull up her YouTube link, but you should be able to access it off of her webpage somewhere.

#3 As I know you're all anxiously anticipating the results of my debate, which was on Affirmative Action, we won!!! I know, I know, I know, impressive. Mastery, basically. We were arguing the "No, affirmitive action is not useless at this point" side. And I was soooo excited when someone on the other team mentioned that "Affirmitive Action only helps minority groups" because ohhh baby, I had found a killer bite of information. Affirmitive Action actually helped white men avoid the draft by allowing them to attend college. I don't want a political debate, but I was just so excited that I could slam them with that little tid-bit. I'm not competitive at all.

#4 Speaking of the debate, this girl Christina (my team) and guy Chris (other team) legit were having a screaming fit during the Q & A session. The class had gotten loud with everyone getting ready to leave, and the debate finishing up, so they had to yell to be heard. But then it got a bit heated, and Mo (professor) stood in the middle looked at the two of them like they were wild hyenas and simply said "Let's get ready to rumbleeeeeeee." Hilarious.

#5 I'm really not going to lie, the fact that someone who doesn't know me decided to follow my blog is probably the hi-light of my week....

#6 I know people really make fun of Brittney Spears, and yeah she is a little crazy. But please honestly tell me that listening to her songs doesn't put you in a good mood?

#7 I have about five pairs of dress pants that I need to wash because they've gotten "loose" but I'm afraid to wash them and have them get wrinkly and stuff. I hate ironing, and I'm not sure how kindly Z. will take to ironing ALL of my dress pants. (He will iron my shirts for me sometimes, because I'm afraid to use the iron/don't want to bother learning how).

#8 I'm torn. I kind of want to get a really short hair cut because I just want something different. A few things are holding me back though. Normally short hair cuts come with bangs of some sort and the way I hold my head when I read, they always fall into my face. Also, I don't get my hair 'trimmed' or 'cut' but like 2-3 times a years (I'm sorry, I'm a poor college kid, when they start costing less than $40 dollars, and I start making more than minimum wage I'll ammend this awful mess). Anyway, I feel like it's stupid to get it cut short because it's just going to grow back out again and so the "new style" will only last a month or so. However, on that same page, I feel like it's dumb to pay if I'm just going to get an inch taken off. Especially since I don't have split ends (I know, be jealous).

#9 I would appreciate it if all the youtube makeup guru's I follow would please visit me and go shopping with me. Come on Jamie, Callison, CiCi, Erin, Elle, and Blair. Shopping trip timeee. You know you wanna come up/down here. I live in the friggin' chicken capital of the world... (I think)

#10 I think this is the longest blog I've written in a considerable amount of time, but I've been so moody/grumpy lately (Ok... as I'd say to my friend Amy.. but when aren't I moody/grumpy?? :P) that I haven't had much to say... and I haven't felt like I've had time. But it's Friday afternoon and taking an hour to blog seems perfectly in order!

The Engagement Story

In the spirit of lovey-dovey Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share our engagement story with everyone who never heard it, or who just loves it and wants to hear it again.

On October 23, 2009 Zach told me that we'd be going on a picnic for our date. Not too weird, we've gone on a couple before, though oddly, none since. Anyway, around 4:30 Zach picked me up. We originally went to school because he wanted to have the picnic in the little gazebo on campus, but there were people in there so he decided we could have our picnic at Winterplace park. So we drove over there and Zach opened the back door of his car and surprised me with the first big surprise of the night. Pumpkins!

Zach and the aforementioned pumpkins. It should be known that I actually literally picked out these pumpkins two days before because he told me his mom wanted them. Tricky Tricky!

Anyway, that was really cute, we carried them out to the picnic table and Zach started setting up dinner. Sandwiches, chips, potato salad, pumpkin seeds (!!! home made, my FAVORITE), diet soda, and he put out the dessert too, M&M's.e G
We ate dinner and then since I was too full, we waited on dessert and went for a walk around the little pond that was at the park. It was really, really, really, nice weather that night and it'd been a long week, so it felt nice to just get out and get fresh air. Finally after walking around for a bit I was ready for dessert so we came back to the picnic table and Zach gave me my bag of M&M's... When I opened the bag up I noticed that they were funny colors (pink and white) and was confused so I poured some out and looked at them and realized that they said "Will You Marry Me" on them. So I looked at Zach, who was at this point on one knee, and I said "Really?!!?!" "REALLY?!?!" REALLLLYYYY?!?!?" (about 20 times) and eventually got around to actually answering the question, with a "Yes!"

After all the excitement we came back to campus and got some coffee, walked around a bit more (nervous energy much?), and then went to see the most unromantic movie that I've ever seen. :P And that was pretty much it :)

Things that Make me Happy

Since I'm stressed, I thought I'd do a picture blog of things that make me happy. :)

Warm and fuzzy blankets

Bruschetta, yum. How good does this look?

Coffee, althouugh this cup looks a little to fancy for me.

The colors green and pink. However, I like a more of a kelly green than lime green, but I thought this was a pretty picture.

Yankee Candles. Mmm I've never tried this fragrance but I'm sure it's heavenly.

The Phanatic :o)

Puppies :)

Coffee, Twix, Codification, and Becca

Wednesday Thoughts

#1 I watched "Teen Mom" last night on MTV. It was so, so, so, cute. Most of the baby's (except for Leah, who is Amber and Gary's daughter) had their first birthdays! It was too cute! Catelynn and Tyler got engaged, and I know they're way too young (but who am I to talk). But it was still so cute. :)

#2- I am currently watching a video about the "Codification" , which is the consolidation of all the accounting rules into topics, sub topics, etc, etc. It's not really that interesting, but I will need to know this, so it's good that it's provided to us I guess.

#3- I just treated myself to a coffee and a twix this afternoon. It's so bad, but, it's a treat.

#4- I'm starting to think that I have a weather sensitive knee condition. My knees are killing me and I'm not really sure waht to do about it.

#5- Sometimes I miss being an elementary education major.I know it would have gotten harder, but I really feel like everything was always really fun, and I was never "stressed". I love accounting, don't get me wrong, but I feel like it's so serious, and so formal, and sometimes I just want something care free and fun. I obviously won't be changing my major back, but I do miss it sometimes. I am hoping that when I get a job, I can talk to my boss about helping our with Junior Achievement. If you don't know what that is, it's like month or two long weekly visits where people from the community come to elementary and middle school class rooms, and teach the kids about some of the fundamentals of business. I remember they came to my school when I was little, and we had a couple weeks long simulation of owning a donut shop. And it was just kind of cool.. so I think that would be a really fun way to kind of do the 'best of both worlds'. But again, it'd have to be during the school day horus, so whatever boss I had would have to be supportive of my decision.

#6- I saw Bex on campus a few minutes ago and I was pretty excited about it. I love seeing old friends on campus. :o) Turns out she'd be willing to go shoe shopping with me on Saturday at some point, so I'm pretty excited about that.

#7- I have a lot of reading to catch up on and start over the next few days. I think I will be doing a lot more reading during the weekends this semester than I have done before. I feel as though all my classes are just more reading heavy this semester.

#8- I am meeting my friend Laura for dinner tonight, at 5:30. Since my knees are killing me, I think I am going to try and do a little yoga before dinner, instead of the gym. I really want to try and start having something like that that I can do at home, and that is less hard on my body for the days that I don't want to go to the gym.

#9- I love my fiance, and that he reads my blogs everyday. I saw him yesterday at lunch, and he said he'd just read my blog, and meant to come over and rub my neck (which I stated yesterday was sore) to show me he'd read it, but he'd forgotten. I just think that's really sweet. He's probably reading this right now, and his head is probably getting all big. :P

#10- Ever since I lost a little bit of weight, I don't mind wearing dress clothes as much. I used to feel like they were very restricting, but they don't feel that way anymore. I can sit in a button down top, and not feel like its too tight. And, I can wear dress pants without feeling like they fit funny. I'm pretty glad about that, because I have to dress up a lot. I actualyl kind of ike it, I love the pretty colors and the jewelery. I really just need to work on finding shoes.

Tuesday Thought Update

Thoughts, thoughts, thoughts

#1- I watched My Life as Liz last night again at 10:30, and I'm not sure if I'm so in love with it anymore. I am very intrigued. But the mean girls are way meaner than girls would ever actualyl be. The popular girls actually go out of their way to do mean stuff to Liz (ie: send her 10 carnations telling her to meet her secret admirer at the dance). I just don't feel like people woudl eer do that. I knew the popular crowd in high school, and I knew the not popular crowd, and I just feel like the two groups weren't really concerned with each other.

#2- Intermediate II looks like it will be a ton of work but at the moment it feels like while it may be time consuming it wil be doable. Dr. Smith is kind of intimidating, but he gives me the feeling that I will be able to succeed. I am a tiny, tiny, tiny, bit worried about my group (which is basically my "universe" for the whole class, we do everything together). I know one of the guys, J, and he seems really reliable and I trust him. And I know one of the girls is really smart, but there are two people who I don't really know, and I'm not sure what kind of "vibes" I get from them. To be honest, I think one of them is a girl someone told me cheated in their Cost class last semester. And nerdy as it sounds, I take academic integrity very seriously, and if this girl ever tries to cheat on the group work, I think I'd freak out on her. But, so far, it looks doable. I hope!

#3- I'm enjoying a HEAVENLY coffee right now. I really needed it.

#4- I have an 8AM TUe/Thur this semester. I'm sure I'll get used to going to class that early, and it's not that I mind getting up. But my problem is that waking up early, and then not "doing" anything active tends to put me right back to drowsy.

#5- I keep not getting up when I want to get up. I really want to get up at 6AM every day this semester. I think I need to get one of those old fashion alarm clocks (aka not my cell phone) and use that so that i have to get out of bed if I want to reset it.

#6- Where it was so humid yesterday, when I went to bed last night the apartment felt muggy so I opened my window. Boy, did I regret that decision when I woke up this morning in my shorts and tshirt freezing my butt off.

#7- Sometimes I wonder if I have something wrong with my neck because I almost always feel like I have a sore muscle in it. (It's sore today). Usually I just assume its from the way I read for classes and such, but I haven't read for them much yet. And it's still bugging me.

#8- I need to go to get some black "dress" shoes. I read that professional women shouldn't wear flats, and the only pair of "dress" sheos I have are black flats. I think they'd be closer to "ok" if they were more fancy, but they are round toe'd and they have a little decorative button on them.

#9- My birthday is two weeks from today. I am honestly kind of dreading it. It means that I have to retake my vision test for my license, and I'm worried that I won't have the same vision as last time. Which would mean they could, in essense, either revolke or limit my license. In an area like Salisbury, that idea is kind of stressful.

#10- Sometimes when I'm walking around campus, I really hope that I'll run into someone I know. Why? Because I realy want a hug. :P I feel like that's weird.
